Hello beautiful people! I’m Mikayla the lead technician here at Tenskin Rx. I’m a licensed Skin/ Laser technician dedicated in helping you achieve glowing, healthy skin. 

I’m Ukrainian and Polish but I was born in the Pas, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg about 5 years ago for Esthetics school. Which I ended up enrolling in on a whim because I needed a reason to why I was leaving The Pas to tell my parents. The original plan was to become a makeup artist in school but I ended up falling in love with skincare along the way. 

I graduated from MC College in 2021 while also being valedictorian of my class, from there I took some online courses for skincare ingredients and  an acne course and got my certification for Laser rejuvenation and laser hair removal. 

My current skincare routine in the morning is probiotic toner, vitamin c, centella gel, facial emulsion, and Elta MD SPF 46. And for night it’s very similar with balance cleanser, probiotic toner, collagen + HA concentrate, probiotic eye cream, centella gel and facial emulsion 

My favourite treatment to receive is IPL, my skin tends to be more acne prone so whenever I get breakouts It helps clear everything up very quickly, as well as reducing redness and pigmentation. My favourite treatment to preform is the Microneedling with or without Exosomes, I’ve seen really amazing transformations with the treatment for overall texture, tone, scarring and wrinkles.

Esthetician | Laser Technician | Sugarist

My name is Elisha, I moved to Winnipeg in 2007 with my family. In my free time I go to the gym, try out new restaurants and play video games. My favourite food is pho and I love reptiles. 

I became a cosmetologist because I love to make people feel happy in their own skin. I love getting to know my client’s lifestyles and habits so that I can customize treatments to work around life. Confidence is key to aging gracefully and everyone deserves that. 

I started the Esthetics program at MC College in 2020. I’ve been in the beauty industry for nearly 5 years now. I’ve been certified in laser treatments and have been doing laser hair removal for 3 years. I also have 3 years of sugaring experience. 

I’m from the Philippines and I have very dehydrated skin along with hyperpigmentation and some fine lines. 

In the day time I use protein mist from Epicuren, HA multiplex from Eltraderm, Vitamin C from Luksus every 2 days, centella gel from Algologie, probiotic eye cream by Dr. Lili Fan, either Hyaluron E cream or CE from Eltraderm and Elta MD’s SPF 35 for dry skin or Elta MD’s SPF 46 for normal to oily skin. 

In the evenings, I switch my serum to the stem cell ampoule from Skin Accents and I apply the rest of the same day products. 

My favourite treatment to receive is our Glow facial. My skin always needs that boost of hydration especially living in Winnipeg. 

My favourite service to perform is our IPL facial. I love seeing results and customizing settings for each skin type.

Skin Technician 

My zodiac sign is Sagittarius and a few of my hoobies are reading, going to the gym and watching movies. I recently got a puppy and her name is Sedona and she is a purebred golden retriever.

I was born and raised in Winnipeg MB, I’ve always had a passion for skin health and beauty. What began as doing makeup for friends and family quickly evolved into a deeper love for skincare, especially helping people find the missing piece in their routines to achieve their dream skin.

I graduated from MC College with my esthetician diploma in June 2024 and have been dedicated to helping clients feel confident and cared for through customized treatments and education.

My skincare routine is rooted in products I truly love and trust. I’m passionate about using only the best of the best, and I genuinely believe in the quality and effectiveness of each one. In the morning, I use the Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic Balance Cleanser, followed by the Probiotic Defense Toner, Energy C Ampoule, Algologie Centella Gel, Epicuren Facial Emulsion, and EltaMD UV Clear Tinted SPF. At night, I use the same cleanser and toner, followed by Eltraderm Multiplex H.A. Serum, Algologie Centella Gel, and the Epicuren Facial Emulsion.

Recently I got the Marine Peel done, I had such amazing results and have got so many comments on my skin lately! My favorite treatment to perform is The Purge Facial because I find extractions very satisfying and love to effectively and safety decongest the skin. Also the LED mask during this facial is one of my favorite devices.

I’ve always been passionate about skin care, helping people feel confident about how they look and feel. Working in the beauty industry I knew that every person’s skin has a unique potential to look their best even by means of adjusting skin care routine and implementing the right treatments. I wanted to be a part of that transformation. Becoming a cosmetologist allowed me to combine science, artistry, and care into one career.

I have over 14 years of experience in the beauty industry - I started working at Camille Albane and Dessange ( French brand of luxury and excellence with a unique network of over 400 salons in 47 countries) as a makeup artist in Ukraine. After immigrating to Canada I decided to make my dream come true and to expand my knowledge, so I successfully graduated from MC college in 2021 with a specialization in esthetics, right after graduation I have started working at Ten Spa (one of the best spas in Canada). I’m constantly expanding my knowledge with ongoing training in medical-grade treatments and skincare innovation. 

As a person of Eastern European heritage, my skin tends to be sensitive and prone to dryness — especially in the winter. My routine focuses on hydration and barrier repair. My go-to product is a Luksus, probiotic moisturizer and probiotic eye cream, which nourishes and balances the microbiome of my skin. My favorite serum is centella gel from Algologie, and sunscreen from Elta MD. 

I love getting the ND YAG laser facial— it stimulates collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin leaves my skin feeling deeply plumped and tighten. But my favorite treatment to perform is microneedling RF in combination with exosomes and laser treatments. I love how it helps clients with texture, fine lines, and scarring, helps with rosacea and acne evens out the skin tone and the long-term results are truly transformative.

Skin Technician | Sugarist

I’m Indigenous, a Skincare Technician & Sugarist. My zodiac sign is a Sagittarius. I grew up on and off reserve in Treaty 2. I’ve been living in Winnipeg since 2014 & it’s become my second home. 

I love helping clients feel comfortable in their skin & educating them on products. I’ve struggled with oily skin, texture & sometimes dehydration, so I understand how frustrating it could be not knowing what products to use or not having a proper skincare routine. 

I graduated from the Skincare Technician program in 2022 at The Salon Professional Academy.

My favourite products are our skin accent ampoules, centella gel, creamy exfoliants, facial emulsion moisturizer, & the elta md uv clear broad spectrum spf 46. I start off my nighttime skincare routine by using our balancing cleanser, enzyme exfoliator, protein mist, ampoule or centella gel, eye cream, moisturizer, and sunscreen. 

To receive, I love a Glow or Purge facial. 

To perform, it’s Peels or Purge facials & hair removal. 

Outside work I love spending time with my husband and kids-whether it’s travelling or being outdoors. Other hobbies include decorating, baking, skiing, & enjoying a glass of prosecco while watching a tv show.
